16TH STREET THEATER "Invisible" #1
Working in collaboration with the 16th Street Theater's founder/artistic director Ann Filmer, we decided on a "gritty" monochromatic look, then shot abstractions of the actors posed in an alley wearing only a "hoodie" stye sweatshirt. The intention was to create a mood w/ pans, tilts and sweeping shots that would be a visual counterpoint to the actor's pre-recorded (w/ sound FX) monologue, from the performance "Broken Fences."
